Components of the BDV-E580
The main unit houses the Blu-ray player and the main control panel for adjusting setting configurations. The panels of the main unit host a number of connectivity features to connect with other electronic devices.
The Sony BDV-E580 has five satellite speakers and one subwoofer. The center satellite channel speaker measures 12.4 by 2.1 by 2.3 inches for delivering audio experience right in front of the home theater. A set of left and right channel front speakers provides surround sound audio. This multidimensional audio system is even enhanced with another set of left and right channel rear speakers for entirely surrounding the audience with high-quality sound.

The component also has a digital radio tuner for receiving FM signals.
